The DISCovery Personality Test Contact us - simply send us an email and we will set you up with your own system within a couple of hours.

This test is based on the highly successful DISC model of personality. Tests based on this model have been administered more than 50 million times throughout the world to help select and develop people.

The DISC Theory was developed by William Moulton Marston in the 1920's. (W. M. Marston: 1893-1947, Harvard graduate, lawyer, psychologist and educational consultant.) Since then the theory has been refined and validated by many eminent psychologists and HR professionals.

The DISCovery Personality Test takes this a step further. This test applies the 'Blink' Decision Making Technique that is revolutionising the accuracy of psychometric testing.

D Dominance Describes the way the person deals with problems, asserts him or herself and controls situations.
I Influence The way he  or she deals with people, the way they communicate and relate to others.
S Steadiness Temperament - patience, persistence, and thoughtfulness
C Compliance How he or she approaches and organises their activity, procedures and responsibilities.
     

The Questionnaire
The questionnaire consists of 28 sets of multiple choices and takes about 8/10 minutes.

The Report
The report provides scores and narratives for the DISC traits and places the test-taker into a specific 'Pattern' or Classification.  The report is designed to provide 'feedback' to test-taker in a non-threatening, everyday language.

This DISCovery Test was created in response to a high demand by HR professionals, counsellors and coaches. They all indicated that they wanted a report that is succinct and to the point. We promise you that the facts you will get will be as accurate as any other test based on the DISC model of personality.

DISC Patterns or Classifications

To help communication and understanding, researchers and experts in the DISC Personality Model have defined what are known as 'Patterns' or 'Classifications'.

 

These Patterns are based on the relationship between the scores for the four DISC areas measured ... on the 'shape' of the profile.

 

The frequency of different patterns amongst the general population have also been taken into consideration.

 

When to use
There are a number of different ways The DISCovery Personality Test can be used:

  • As a pre-interview tool to ensure that you are maximising the efficiency of your face-to-face interview.

  • At interview to compare results against opinions formed by interviewer/s.

  • As an additional input to Assessment Centres and 'wash-ups'.

  • As a coaching and development tool for existing personnel - for all jobs at all levels.
