How does the test-taker approach tasks and responsibilities?  Low scorers are easy-going individuals.  They are free spirits who are likely to be laid-back, flexible and casual - perhaps with less emphasis on achievement.  High scorers for this area are likely to be industrious, responsible and - conscientious.  They are likely to be well organised and achievement-oriented.

Emotional Stability - Stress Tolerance 
How does the person respond to adversity or pressure?  Low scorers in this area are unflappable, calm, and confident.  High scorers are sensitive and emotional - perhaps being rather tense and insecure.

Conscientiousness is an aspect of what people often call 'character'.  It has been described as the Will to Achieve.

Conscientious people who are not emotionally reactive, tend to focus on goals in an industrious, disciplined, dependable and reliable fashion.  They have a strong will to achieve through hard work, good preparation and organisation.

Of course, you do not really need a scientific study to establish this!  Commonsense tells you that:

Conscientious people are more likely to strive to do their jobs better than those who are less conscientious.  

People who are less emotionally reactive are less likely to experience stress, frustration and emotional problems that could impact negatively on their work activity.

When to use the Service - Job applicants
To reduce selection 'risk' we recommend that all candidates be screened for all jobs - at all levels.  Don't interview strangers!  To save valuable management time, we recommend that screening take place very early on in the recruitment procedure.  Arrange for applicants to complete the test, online, prior to interview.  Results are delivered within a few hours by email.  Having the test results prior to interview will enable you to plan your interview tactics in a more focused way.

When to use the Service - Recruitment Agency introductions

Candidates chosen to be interviewed (or existing employees) complete one of our Big Five Personality Model questionnaires - online - prior to their interview.  These self-description test instruments are used by more than 9000 organisations and professionals throughout the world.  

There are three different questionnaires.  We help you to choose which is most appropriate to your specific needs.

Results are sent within 24 hours to the person who will be conducting the interview to enable them to plan their interviewing strategy in a more focused way.

Because we are measuring the dynamic interaction of 30 different facets of personality the test-taker will be unaware that you are focusing on Conscientiousness and Emotional Stability.  This, of course, significantly enhances the accuracy of the assessment report.

A fixed monthly fee enables you to budget testing costs more accurately and assign costs if appropriate.
