Unlimited Usage for a Fixed Fee - Ocean Personality Assessment Questionnaire (OPAQ)

The Test Instrument

The Ocean Personality Assessment Questionnaire measures and reports on 30 different facets of personality and categorises the interaction of these under the Big Five Personality Factors:

  • Openness

  • Conscientiousness (Work Ethic)

  • Extraversion

  • Agreeableness

  • Natural Reactions (Emotional Reactions)

Test Administration

Test-taker completes the questionnaire by accessing a secure area on our website using Client's ID.  

Alternatively, the test-taker can access the questionnaire via a link on Client's website.

Special arrangements can be made for pen/paper administration, PC at branch/office locations; intranet.

Questionnaire can be branded with Client's logo and name.  

Reporting Results

A standard report is generated for the HR Professional.  This includes 'feedback' to be shared with the test-taker.  Take a look a a specimen standard report.

The standard HR Professional report and test-taker's feedback may not always be suitable for client's needs because:

a. 
It may be reporting on personality traits that have no correlation with the job activity concerned and this may distract the less experienced interviewer/s.

b. 
It may be i
nappropriate for the experience/competency of the person conducting the interview/s.

Therefore, if necessary, we work with Client to customise reporting procedure to meet their specific needs.


Relating results to client's needs

Together, we identify which of the 30 personality facets and 5 personality factors measured relate to specific job roles.  This can be based on Client's job analysis and experience.  Alternatively, we can establish 'benchmarks' by conducting a Concurrent Validation study (Success Profiling).  This is achieved by administering the test to a group of existing employees whose performances have been measured against objective criteria.


As indicated earlier, if a Client is not going to use the standard HR Professional report, we create a method of reporting that takes into account the competency and experience of the interviewer/s.

We strongly recommend that all Clients include the measurement of Conscientiousness and Natural Reactions (Emotional Reactions).  Please refer to information on 'Screening for Conscientiousness and Emotional Reactions'.

Note:  Results not included in customised report are still measured and this data is saved for future periodic analysis and validation against real-time job performance.

Report can be branded with Client's logo and name.  

Delivery

Reports are delivered by email to the Accredited HR professional and/or other nominated people.
Alternatively reports can be stored in a control panel for accessing as and when desired.

Client Support

1.  We provide a User Manual, including FAQs, which will be customised appropriately.

2.  We provide suggested Key Questions for use by the interviewer/s.

Note:  We recommend that Clients add their own Key Questions based on their professional experience and company culture.

3.  Provision of 'help line' to answer any questions relating to test administration or interpretation of results.

Fees - Unlimited Usage for a Fixed Fee
Unlike many test publishers Clients are not bound by long-term contractual arrangements, accreditation, training or upgrade fees.  Our fee structure includes all start-up, adaptations, customising, continuing and support services.

This unlimited usage fee structure allows clients to:

  • Test as many applicants as they wish.

  • Test any number of existing employees to identify traits that relate to specific job roles.

  • Establish a fixed testing cost for each job vacancy.  This enables Client to budget accurately and, if appropriate, establish amounts to be assigned to different cost centres.

Note:  Based on our experience, Clients using this facility test about 5 to 8 people per appointment.  But, as indicated, there is no limitation.

Agreement

O
ur agreement is very simple.
Unlimited Usage for a Fixed Fee is billed monthly. 
Minimum of 3 months.
The agreement can be terminated, at any time, by either party giving 2 months' notice.
